The LSU Cycling club has been given the opportunity to host the road championships for the South Central Collegiate Cycling Conference in April. This event is the capstone to every collegiate cycling road season, and we are honored to have been given this opportunity to create an event that is treated with much enthusiasm by the racers of the region. This year we have an exciting set of races that will include a road race through the hills of the historic St. Francisville, a team time trial that will have riders speeding through the flats of river road, and a criterium that will be a race around the Louisiana State Capitol building and neighboring park in downtown Baton Rouge. We look forward to seeing all of our friends around the conference racing in Baton Rouge and enjoying the traditional southern hospitality that south Louisiana has to offer.
